On the auspicious day of Gudhipadva RC Patalganga in association with Kamothe centre Brahmakumari organised an anti-addiction rally to create awareness about various addictions like drugs, alcohol, smoking, mobile phones etc. The peace rally organized by the Rotary Club to raise awareness about the effects of addiction and promote de-addiction is a significant community initiative. It serves to educate the public about the detrimental impacts of addiction on individuals, families, and society at large. The rally was organized to spread awareness about the increasing drug addiction among the youth. Such rallies aim to foster a supportive environment for those struggling with addiction, encourage them to seek help, and promote a healthier lifestyle. More than 1000 people participated in the rally. We organised Tempo with Messages to promote De-Addiction Participants also took an oath that they would not get addicted to drugs and would also discourage family members and friends from this addiction. The rally was well attended by people of all ages and backgrounds coming together. A street play on de-addiction was organized by Brahmakumari along with annets. By engaging the community in this awareness campaigns, our Club played a pivotal role in advocating for peace and well-being, ultimately contributing to a more resilient and compassionate society.
