President Blog

Hellofriends,

fellow leaders and problem solvers.

I am delighted to accept the role as President of this great volunteer organization. Thank you for the opportunity  to serve andCreate Hopein the World.

I'm grateful to be a member of this club, and to be able to feel the warmth and compassion that we that we have for each other . We are a family with diverse backgrounds and interests that come together to make good things happen. There is a tremendous feeling about being part of something that is bigger than yourself, and that connection you feel when helping som eone, or perhaps being the recipient of someone else'shelp.

As a fellow volunteer, it is my goal to harness the tremendous energy, skills and compassion that is in this club. Rotary is about Service Above Self and we call ourselves "People of Action" for good reason.

We at Rotary have many examples of beinguseful. This include Water Retaining wall at village Sawle, Water Purifier at Mohopada Riksha stand, Public Toilet at Mohopada Market area, Bus Stop at Mohopada, Free Cataract surgeries, and many other projects for upliftment of underprivileged community. Of course, we have before us numerous other unmet needs and opportunities to be useful within our club and in our community. This leads me to 6 primary goals for the comingyear. They are:

  1. Rotary Skill Development center for Women Empowerment of underprivilegedcommunity.
  2. Continue our support towards the environmental with Rotary Dense Forest Project to rectify/ reduce the damages done to Environment. that iscurrently under development.
  3. Borewell recharge and Rainwater Harvesting project to reduce the searcity of water issues.
  4. Promoting Mission TEACH by organizing Adult Literacy programs in variousvillages
  5. Free Prosthetic & LN4 distribution camp
  6. School l

Thank you again for the opportunity to serve to change Lives and Imagining Rotary to Create Hope in the World
